The Idaho Houndsmen Association is dedicated to the preservation and further advancement of the sport of hound hunting. Established in the 1960s, the IHA continues to advocate for the continued use of hounds, conservation of wildlife, and good sportsmanship. The IHA works with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and the general public to build relationships and further understanding of the sport.

We provide our membership with several activities throughout the year. These activities include field trials and our annual banquet. Also available to our members is our newsletter. Published every January, our newsletter provides a list of events for the upcoming year as well as other information that may be of interest.
