About Us
the Idaho Houndsmen Association (IHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and protecting the rich tradition of hound hunting in Idaho. For more than five decades, we have brought together houndsmen, sportsmen, families, and conservation partners to ensure that future generations can experience the heritage, skill, and stewardship that define hound hunting.
Our Mission
We work to ensure a future for hound hunting in Idaho through education, advocacy, and responsible participation in wildlife management. The IHA collaborates closely with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and other hunting and conservation organizations to support sustainable practices, fair-chase ethics, and healthy wildlife populations across the state.
